What is true now
Full Living Disability Initiative, Inc. is an active/compliant Missouri domestic nonprofit corporation.
What is in progress
FLDI is preparing its own federal application and is not yet federally recognized as a 501(c)(3).
What comes next
FLDI is building the financial controls, records, and compliance steps needed to accept charitable contributions responsibly once its federal tax-exemption process is ready.
How future support can help
Early support is not only about launching a visible program. It can help build the governance, accessibility, people, and operating systems that make responsible programs possible.
Governance, financial controls, records, administration, and the practical systems needed to operate a nonprofit responsibly.
Accessible web, intake, communication, learning, and community infrastructure designed around varied support needs.
Mentor preparation, matching, check-ins, practical guides, relationship and independence resources, and referral boundaries.
Preparation for mentors and moderators, accessibility practices, privacy, participant protection, and quality review.
Consent-led profiles, editorial workflows, accessible content, and the technical foundation for the planned FLDI Magazine & Directory.
Outcome tracking, participant feedback, project coordination, and the operating capacity needed to improve what FLDI delivers.
These are planned uses, not a current solicitation or promise that every future contribution will fund every area. Actual use will follow approved budgets, applicable restrictions, and the compliant giving structure in place at the time.
About tax deductibility
If FLDI files a timely federal exemption application and the IRS approves recognition effective from FLDI's legal date of formation, qualifying contributions made during that recognized period may become deductible. The IRS—not FLDI—determines the effective date.
Until recognition is granted, donors do not have advance assurance that a direct contribution to FLDI will be deductible. FLDI therefore is not promising a tax deduction or tax credit for a contribution made before recognition.
FLDI is also not currently accepting direct online donations through this website. A direct giving option will open only after the applicable federal and state requirements, financial controls, and donation-processing systems are in place.
Support interest list
This is a notification list only. It is not a donation, pledge, payment authorization, or representation that a contribution is tax-deductible.
When FLDI has a compliant giving pathway in place, we can contact you with the current details so you can decide whether you still want to contribute.
Do not enter credit-card, bank, or other financial-account information in this form. FLDI will never ask for payment details through this interest form.
Why the careful wording?
FLDI wants people to be able to support the mission, but the organization is still completing board formation, governance, federal tax-exemption preparation, and financial systems.
When FLDI is ready to accept direct charitable contributions, this page will be updated with the current giving instructions and tax-status information. Until then, this page is only a way to express interest.
