FLDI Talent & Expertise Network

Tell us what you know how to do.

FLDI is assembling a standing network of people whose skills, experience, professional backgrounds, lived experience, and interests may be useful as grants, research projects, programs, committees, partnerships, and paid or volunteer opportunities develop.

You do not need to know which FLDI role you want. Part of the purpose of this network is for FLDI to understand your full range of capabilities and identify where you may fit as the organization grows.

A standing talent bench

Broader than a job application.

FLDI may need very different expertise at different moments: project management for a six-month grant, a research assistant for a study, a payroll or grants administrator, a statistician, a communications professional, an accessibility specialist, a board or committee member, a consultant, a mentor, or someone with knowledge of a particular community or industry.

Rather than start from zero each time, the Talent & Expertise Network gives FLDI a qualified pool of people to revisit when a need arises.

Do not feel that you need to tailor your résumé to FLDI. We want to understand the full range of what you know how to do. A longer CV, comprehensive résumé, career history, skills inventory, or other professional background document is welcome.

Résumé, CV, or career history

Comprehensive is welcome here.

A conventional two-page résumé is fine. A 5-, 10-, or longer-page CV or comprehensive career history is also welcome if that better represents your experience. This network is designed to surface capabilities that might never fit on a normal application résumé.

Join the network

Build a fuller picture of your capabilities.

This is not a standard employment application. Share the experience, knowledge, networks, capabilities, and interests that could make you useful to FLDI now or later.

Joining the network does not guarantee employment, compensation, a board appointment, volunteer placement, or any future opportunity. FLDI may retain the information you submit and contact you when a need appears to match your experience and interests.

Privacy

Do not submit Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical information, financial-account data, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information. You may request deletion of your Talent Network information at any time by emailing contact@thefldi.org.

Professional documents

A short résumé is acceptable, but a comprehensive CV, career history, skills inventory, or similar document is encouraged for this network. If you use a cloud link, make sure FLDI can open it without requesting access.

Prefer PDF or DOCX if you email documents separately to contact@thefldi.org.

Important

Joining the FLDI Talent & Expertise Network is not an application for a specific job and does not guarantee employment, compensation, a board appointment, or a future opportunity. FLDI may retain the information you provide and contact you when a role, project, grant, volunteer opportunity, advisory need, or other opportunity appears to match your experience and interests.

FLDI may not respond individually to every submission. We will use the network to identify potential fits as needs and funded opportunities emerge.
